up in this tree was the pits.
My legs were going numb, not to mention my ass. How much longer
being in this one position was any one's guess. I had to keep my mind
off them. Especially since it meant life or death to me. If these evil
souls heard or saw me I was doomed. I turned my attention to the
ground, listening to the conversations that were going on. I had heard it before,
but I had to do something. Being up somewhat high in this tree I could
see all around the Cemetary. Seeing the poor souls living there was
making me feel sad for them. They had no idea what was about to happen.
If you were watching you would have thought it was a peaceful little
village and not a cemetary. I had to remind myself I was in "Hell."
How I had gotten here was a pure mystery to me.
hanto was milling around checking to make sure
his followers were ready. "Listen up" Phanto yelled. "It's getting close
to time now. Souls make sure everyone is ready to go. Once we start I want all
of you to move fast. The element of surprise is on our side so that when
we attack, our enemy will be so confused, they won't know which way to run.
I want all of you to stay focused on what we are doing. After the charge into
the cemetary I want squad B to take the first huge building. We will use it
as a place to take your prisoners. Lady Skelta will be there with her group
to keep them confined. Get some rest now it won't be long." Phanto moved to
the front taking his position to lead his group in to the cemetary.
fter listening to his speech I began to wonder just how
I was going to make my escape from here, which way I would go, and above all not
getting caught. There were evil ones all around me and so far they haven't
spotted me. The ones below me were starting to get restless. They were moving
around alot now. It must be getting close to time to go. I saw them getting
their weapons ready. That's when I got a quick little scare. I had left my
make shiff weapon leaning against the tree I was up in. "Oh shit" I thought if they noticed
it they might look up at me. But that fear was short lived because they were now
lining up. That meant that it was close to time for the attack.
