inding my way through the passageway I needed to
to find the exit. It was dark which made it hard to see. While searching
through the mansion, I found some candles and used one of the torches
too light one. I knew I had to be careful. When I reached the outdoors I
didn't want to get caught again. Slowly moving through the passageway
I began to see alittle light ahead of me. As I got closer I could see a
wooden door that was ajar. It was storming again outside.
I could see the lightening flashes through the opened door.



tepping outside the door I darted into some bushes
to survey the area and remain concealed from my predators. Upon looking
around I found myself in a huge courtyard.
It wasn't possible to go through the gate at the risk of being seen,
so I had to devise a plan to go over the wall. Crossing the courtyard,
I made my way to a large tree that was close to the wall. With great care
not to be seen, I scoped the area to see just how I was going get over
the wall. Luck was with me about 25 feet from me was an old dying tree
with it's branches hanging over the wall. If the branches
would support my weight, I could get over easily. The problem was to do
it with out being seem especially because the tree was kind of out in the open.



knew there where to many evil souls lurking around
the Mansion, plus moving about outside, making it too dangerous of an attempt too
escape right now. So I went back into the brushes where I had been hiding.
I had to figure out when would be the best time to go. When everyone had left
would be my best shot. After all they would be leaving soon to prepare for
the attack on the cemetary. While waiting I could hear muffled voices. I
looked in the direction it was coming from and started to move toward the
sounds. There was an
open window, so I edged closer to listen. Maybe I could hear a clue as
to when everyone was leaving. I figured it would be easier to make my moves
when only Progg and his sons were alone in the Mansion. Then there would be
less of a chance of being seen. Sure enough they were discussing about leaving and
running some errands to prepare. Great I thought, getting ready to make my move.
I began getting closer to the tree without being seen. At least I knew they
hadn't discovered that I had escaped.
